Soledad Cordoba (Asturias, 1977) uses photography as a way to transmit and portray new realities, and as a tool to generate questions about human existence.
Her work explores the area of confusion where limits converge. The boundaries between reality and fiction, the understandable and the supernatural, the beautiful and the sinister, or the well-known and the odd. She also explores the relationship we have with natural elements while valuing the fantastic as a form of transcendence. For this purpose she creates and depicts places where everything is possible, landscapes that stimulate the creation of new realities, or places which encourage reflexion within our daily reality.
